This is the text from my book.
A beer company needs to purify water by distillation for brewing beer. It uses a cylindrical tank with 15 electrical resistance heaters which boil city water to produce distilled water, Each heater has a resistance of 10 ohms and draws a 25 A current. The tank radius is 1.0 m and the maximum depth of water is 2.0 m. The tank can be pressurized to a maximum gauge pressure of 35 kPa so that the water will boil at a higher temperature than 100 Celsius. When the tank is full the water pressure on the bottom of the tank is 19.62 kPa.
1) At 25 A, the 15 resistance heaters draw how many kW?
2) The tank is filled with water at 25 C, which must be brought to boil at 108 C due to pressurization. If the current to the heaters is increased to 110 kW. how long will it take a full tank for water to be heated to 108 C (specific heat if water = 4190 J / kg C)

1. Since there is a formula for power in terms of resistance and current, and you have resistance and current, just use that: P = I^2 R. You have I and R for each heater, so that gives you P for each heater.
The answer will be in W. You’ll need to convert to kW.
2. heat energy = (specific heat) x (delta-T) x mass
delta-T is the temperature difference between 108 C and 25 C (I’ll let you do the math).
The specific heat is given.
To find the mass, I’d calculate the volume of a cylinder of radius 1.0 m and height 2.0 m and multiply by the density of water.
This gives you the total number of Joules you need, and you are being told that the heaters deliver 110000 Joules per second. (That’s what 110 kW means).
